Portrait of Paul Skittone

About

I'm Paul. I make complex products easier to use.

I like working on products that give people a lot to think about. My job is to organize that information so the next step feels clear.

I have a background in UI design, visual systems, illustration, and QA. That mix helps me think through how an interface looks, how it behaves, and what happens when real people use it in unexpected ways.

Outside of work, I'm usually making, fixing, or customizing something. I might be building a computer, woodworking, tackling a home repair, automating something around the house, or designing a functional 3D print. I like learning how things work and finding ways to make them better.

How I work

Three ways I keep products clear.

01

Find the clearest path

I start by figuring out what someone needs to know or do, then make that path easier to follow.

02

Keep the product consistent

I use reusable patterns so each part feels connected and the experience holds together as it grows.

03

Stay involved through launch

I work closely with implementation, test edge cases, and help make sure the shipped product matches the intent.

Open to product design roles.
